My very personal summary of quite a special meeting in Chiang Mai. People, topics, sights, music, dialogues, it was human and beautiful from the first to the very last minute!
Human Rights Lights (tongue twister in more than a way)
Cosmopolitanism means celebration, of the Human Rights Day, called here the Democracy Day (a public holiday!), of Hanouka with the Chan Klan Road Jews, travelling to gorgeous Laos, tasting french wine and eating beautiful Thai food...and even the mind is working, preparing a conference on Language rights, inclusion and the prevention of ethnic conflicts concocted by Fernand de Varennes...with my modest logistical support;-)
Netanyahu never misses an opportunity…to miss an opportunity
Reading and hearing the news along the Cosmopolitan Luang Prabang on the mythical Mekong River somewhat spoilt a bit my extreme serenity...This angry reaction captures the various reactions from the diaspora Jews supporting a two State solution in the Middle East and feeling that Israeli Government's attitude is the opposite of our values, beliefs and simple common sense. A Budha might remind the world to cease the conflicts maybe!
