Republicans created Donald Trump, their albatross, by Renford Reese

I’m amazed at the number of disappointed lower middle class friends who have become enraged against Obamacare and their taxes raise to the point of being blinded to the very accurate depiction of Trump you are about to read. It seems that no matter what we write or fact check or analyze, we only contribute to making this buffoon more popular. I had to laugh … Continue reading Republicans created Donald Trump, their albatross, by Renford Reese

Can there be any light in this darkness? Account of a mistimed conference

On July 8th, I had the privilege to attend a peace conference organised by the Israeli Newspaper Haaretz. Let me first stress that on that particular day, Hamas started unilaterally to send missiles and rockets on Israeli Cities. I experienced 3 alerts although I never made it to a shelter. This is my very personal account of the discussions which took place on that day, … Continue reading Can there be any light in this darkness? Account of a mistimed conference

The Israeli Peace Initiative was in Geneva on May 15, 2014

Upon the initiative of JCall SwitzerlandKoby Huberman and Ygal Tamir were invited to present the Israeli Peace Initiative, their low profile yet extremely interesting thinktank which acts as a response to the Arab Peace initiative. Both API and IPI belong to the Pragmatic Peace League (i.e. we don’t need to love each other, simply to both enjoy living next to each other, D. Chemla). Cuba…ck in time

I’m writing these lines in beautifully obsolete and decrepit Havana….So glad to leave it although its charm and sadness will be in my heart forever. I’m a born traveler. It’s in my genes, blood, drive, mentality. I remember having to make presentations in my various classes of geography as a school girl and keeping imagining my life there… Although I know some people who’ve travelled … Continue reading Cuba…ck in time
