Chana Tova 5781 Happy New Year

I’ve just posted my traditional Rosh Hachana message in hydro-Arabic, Yiddish and Hebrew, but also in Welsh …

5781….Happy Jewish New Year, Mara am akhore khirminada!!!Tayere fraynt,
Ikh vintsh aykh ale a gitn roshashoyne yontev un a zise naye yor, mit gezund, mazl un sholem! Blwyddyn Newydd Dda

Thanks to my cousin Claude, my friends Michel Borzykowsky and Lisa Williams

I adored the immediate reactions from Algeria, Australia, Austria, Canada, England, Finland, France, French Polynesia, Gaza Territory, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Spain, Sweden, Laos, Slovenia, Switzerland, South Africa. Thailand, Trinidad, Tunisia, UAI and the USA… from all over the world, Jews and non Jews alike were fraternally sending their warm regards in this year unlike any other one….Jewish or not!

This year, we didn’t have a choice, Yet we feel privileged in so many ways that this New Year sounds almost like a Thanksgiving !

A pumpkin field near Forcalquier where we spent a blissful weekend last week!
